Eunice Atokomach BSW, MSW, RSW

Eunice Atokomach MSW, RSW is a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist with a Master of Social Work specializing in Mental Health and Health from the University of Toronto Factor-Inwentash. She also received an Honors Bachelor of Social Worker degree from Lakehead University and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies degree from McMaster University.

Eunice has extensive clinical experience working in private practice, outpatient, inpatient, community, and virtual settings. She has provided assessments, counselling and advocacy for clients recovering from trauma, and coping with PTSD, trauma related stress, grief, mood disorders, mental health diagnoses, addictions as well as those recovering from strokes, spinal cord injuries and acquired brain injuries. Using a number of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) she has provided assessment, education, counselling and case management services to assist persons experiencing trauma, crisis and requiring support in adjustment. Eunice is passionate about providing an environment of safety, solutions, warmth and empathy to her clients as they journey towards continued perspective, understanding, and healing. “As a social worker I believe that although life is sometimes accompanied by fear, disappointment and transitions, the road to wellness and balance is a personally-defined journey that is within reach for all of us.
